Why clear areas fill up
Escape routes, fire doors and the space in front of hydrants and electrical cabinets must stay clear. In daily work they fill up: a pallet is parked for a minute and stays for a day. Inspections find it once a month at best. In public buildings and at entrances, a bag or parcel left behind raises a different question: who left it, and when?
What ProDataAI Lens detects
- Objects in an area that must stay clear, such as an escape route or the space in front of a fire door, for longer than a time you set.
- Bags and items left behind in foyers, waiting areas and public spaces.
- Spills and obstacles on walkways: liquid on the floor or objects lying in aisles and walkways, as a slip and trip hazard.
- Deliveries left unattended at entrances, gates and loading areas.
- Vehicles parked where they should not be, such as fire brigade access routes.
With search you can then find when the object appeared and look at the clip.
Getting the timing right
The key setting is the time an object may stay: five minutes in front of a fire door, a few hours on a loading area. In the pilot we tune these times and the zones on your cameras, so that people moving through or a forklift stopping briefly do not raise alerts. The detection supports your fire safety checks and does not replace them.
Frequently asked questions
Does it detect every kind of object?
It detects objects that stay in a marked zone. How reliable that is depends on camera position, light and the size of the object, which we check in the pilot.
Is this useful for fire safety audits?
Reports show how often and where escape routes were blocked. They support your fire safety checks and your fire safety officer; they do not replace inspections.
Does it identify who left the object?
No. It shows the clip of when the object was placed. ProDataAI Lens does not recognise faces or identify people.
