The problem with many stores

Area managers look after many stores. Break-ins, staff entering after hours without a reason, deliveries left at the back door and doors left open are noticed the next morning, if at all. Recordings exist, but finding the right minute across several stores takes hours.

What ProDataAI Lens watches for

  • Movement after closing time in the sales area, the stock room or the cash office.
  • Restricted rooms such as the cash office or the server room, at hours you set.
  • Deliveries left unattended at the back door or the loading area.
  • Crowding and occupancy limits during opening hours, where that matters. See occupancy and crowding.

One view across many stores

Alerts go to the person responsible for each store and severity, and lower-severity events are bundled. Search works across all stores at once, by camera, zone and time. A daily report per store or region arrives at the time you choose.

Customers, staff and data protection

In retail, cameras see customers and staff. Cameras in staff areas such as break rooms and changing rooms are off limits, and the works council has a say where staff can be seen. ProDataAI Lens does not recognise faces, does not analyse emotions and does not track people. Setting ProDataAI Lens up for the hours after closing keeps the focus on protecting property and on events when nobody should be there.

Frequently asked questions

Does ProDataAI Lens detect shoplifting?

ProDataAI Lens detects events, objects and situations such as movement in a closed store or a restricted room. It does not analyse customer behaviour to judge who might steal, and it does not identify people.

Can it cover all our stores from one place?

Yes. Alerts, search and reports work across all connected stores, with recipients per store or region.

Do we need new cameras in the stores?

Usually not. ProDataAI Lens reads the standard IP cameras and recorders already installed.
