What extraction sites ask for most

Quarries and gravel pits lose diesel, copper cable, tools and sometimes whole machines at night and at weekends. During the day, wheel loaders, dumpers and conveyor belts work close to people on foot. Both happen on sites too large to watch from one hut, and a security patrol that drives out for every alarm is expensive.

Use cases at extraction sites

Sites with a weak connection

Many pits have only a mobile connection. In the hybrid setup a GPU server on site handles detection locally, so alerts work even when bandwidth is low; search and reports run in the cloud. Where nothing may leave the site, ProDataAI Lens runs fully on premises. See cloud, hybrid or on premises.

Dust, weather and darkness

Dust, rain and darkness affect what a camera can see. Cameras with infrared or good low-light performance work at night. In the pilot we test your cameras at the hours and in the weather that matter, and tell you honestly where a camera or a light needs to move.

Frequently asked questions

Can alerts go to our security provider?

Alerts go to the people you name by email, text message or messenger, for example the site manager on call or your security provider.

Do we need new cameras?

Not for most sites. ProDataAI Lens reads the standard IP cameras and recorders you already have. On large sites we often find that a few extra cameras at the fuel store or workshop matter more than many cameras elsewhere.

Can several pits be watched from one place?

Yes. Alerts, search and reports work across all connected sites, with recipients per site.
