Why the yard is hard to see

Time slots slip, trucks queue at the gate, and the shift lead walks the yard to see which bays are free. Waiting time costs money on both sides, and when a carrier disputes a waiting fee or a damaged load, nobody can say exactly when the truck arrived at the bay and when it left.

What ProDataAI Lens does

  • Bay occupancy: which docks have a truck at them, at any time.
  • Standing time at the bay per vehicle, with an alert when a truck stands longer than you allow.
  • Waiting vehicles in the yard and at the gate.
  • The clip of each arrival and departure, ready when a delivery or a waiting fee is disputed.

Combined with the gate, you see a vehicle's way from the gate to the bay and out again, with number plates where agreed.

Vehicles are counted, people are not scored

The reports are about docks and vehicles: occupancy, standing and waiting times. They do not measure how fast individual employees load or unload, and ProDataAI Lens does not identify drivers or staff. That keeps the setup within what a works council can agree to.

Reports for planning

Daily reports show bay occupancy over the day, peak hours and the longest standing times. Logistics managers use them to plan time slots and staff, and to talk to carriers on the basis of facts.

Frequently asked questions

Can ProDataAI Lens connect to our time slot or yard management system?

That depends on your systems, so we check it for your site. Integration work beyond the setup in the offer is agreed separately.

Do we need cameras at every bay?

Not always: one camera often sees several bays. In the pilot we check which bays your cameras cover reliably.

Does it measure how long our staff take to load?

No. It measures how long vehicles stand at the bay, not the work of individual employees.
