Many small sites without staff
Utilities and energy companies run many small sites that nobody visits for days. Copper theft, vandalism and intrusion into fenced areas are the main risks, and an unnecessary call-out to a remote site costs hours.
Use cases at critical sites
- Perimeter and restricted-area intrusion: people or vehicles inside the fence or a restricted area, at any hour, with the clip, so the call-out decision is made on evidence.
- Site access: vehicles at the gate with times.
- Fire and smoke early warning: an extra early warning for outdoor equipment and storage.
Fully on premises, no outside connection
For sites where video must never leave the network, ProDataAI Lens runs fully on premises, without any connection to the outside. In a hybrid setup, a GPU server on site handles detection, and only search and reports run in the cloud. We go through your IT and OT security requirements with your team before go-live.

Rules for critical infrastructure
Operators of critical infrastructure have their own security obligations under national law and the NIS2 rules, in addition to the GDPR. The ProDataAI Lens setup is documented for your security review: one encrypted connection or none, access by role, every access logged, data in the EU or on your premises.
Frequently asked questions
Can ProDataAI Lens work at sites with poor connectivity?
Yes. In a hybrid setup, detection runs on site and only detected events go to the cloud for search and reports. Fully on premises, nothing leaves the site network.
Can alerts go to our control centre?
Alerts go to the people you name by email, text message or messenger. A direct connection to a control centre or alarm receiving centre depends on its systems, so we check it for your site.
Does ProDataAI Lens help with NIS2?
It can be part of your physical security measures, but it does not make you compliant on its own. Your security team decides how it fits into your measures.
